It’s easy to set up a store on UjaMaarket. Create an UjaMaarket account (if you don’t already have one), set your store location and currency, choose a store name, create a listing, set a payment method (how you want to be paid), start selling.
Payments will be deposited at regular intervals into your Stripe or PayPal account depending on the option you choose when creating your vendor account.
If you opted for PayPal, we encourage vendors to use a PayPal Business account and not a Personal account, as personal accounts are subject to monthly receiving limits and cannot accept payments from buyers that are funded by a credit card.
No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a store. To be verified as a vendor and have a verified vendor badge you have the choice to use either a credit card or to register via PayPal. You will not incur any charges for the verification process.
You can sell almost anything on UjaMaarket, however we have an obligation to ensure items are not offensive and comply with local laws.
Items falling short of these requirements may be removed without prior warning and the vendor notified accordingly.
If a item is removed after it has been bought the purchaser is no longer obliged to send payment and may be entitled to a full refund.
